WTF I’ve won a Big Chip Award

So I’ve only gone and won a Big Chip Award, and I’m shocked and chuffed!

At an awards ceremony hosted at the Hilton Deansgate Manchester last Thursday evening with an audience of 400 of our peers from the best of the best of the norths digital and tech community, I was named as the first recipient of the inaugural Big Chip Leadership Award.

It’s a great testament for myself, Steve and Liam leading our team, growing Mashbo as a business and the community building work that we do via Creative Kitchen.

From my point of view as mentioned in my shocked acceptance speech a big thank you goes to Steve, Liam, our team and those who have supported us.

These amazing words that featured in the Manchester Evening News have made the achievement all so real:

Paul Martynenko, president of awards partner, BCS: The Chartered Institute for IT, added:

"I’d like to congratulate all the Big Chip winners, which clearly shows the vibrancy and dynamism of the digital community in the North.

"As sponsors of the inaugural Leadership Award, I cannot think of a better winner than Gavin Sherratt, a dynamic entrepreneur who as well as growing his own start-up digital business, has done much to promote the digital future of the North."

It was also great to see fellow Liverpool companies Angel Solutions, Ruler Analytics and vTime, amongst the finalists – we want to champion our city peers growth and success.
