Reimagining a very traditional relationship: PR, Marketing & Professional Services

In the third of our series of Creative Kitchen ‘Sector Sync’ events, aiming to bring the creative and professional sectors closer together, we’ll be looking at the relationship between PR and Marketing professionals and their professional service clients.

Previous events, run in collaboration with Professional Liverpool, have examined the briefing process between creatives and organisations in the professional and business service sectors, as well as the impact of digital on traditional businesses and how relationships with digital and technology agencies can be improved to leverage the benefits of rapid technological change.

Speakers on the panel include representatives from top PR and Marketing agencies deWinter and Influential, alongside the PR Manager from law firm Weightmans. The event will examine the profound impact that the so-called ‘fourth industrial revolution’ has had on both the PR and Marketing agency model and the professional sector, discussing how this has changed the dynamics of what was once a very traditional working relationship.

Taking place at Avenue HQ on Thursday 6 September, Gavin Sherratt, founder of Creative Kitchen and Mashbo, will host a lively discussion around the expectations placed on agencies in an era of constant change and digital disruption. He’ll also lead a discussion around the new PR and Marketing needs of professional service clients and how the two sectors are reimagining their relationships to collaborate successfully to deliver real business results
